Update: Angie Solomon release delayed amidst crazy threats from Aaron Solomon supporters

#justiceforgrant

Hello everyone, and happy Friday.

As you may have noticed, we’ve been taking it easy this week, after a flurry of news stories during the previous two weeks.

That said, we’re back at it, and we’ll have a couple more posts over the weekend.

But until then, we wanted to update you on Angie Solomon and efforts by her friends and daughter to get her released on bail.

Specifically, it looks like there are a few more hurdles folks have to overcome before Angie can make bail and be released, so it looks like it will be early next week. Nothing alarming—just additional details that need to be worked out.

Meanwhile, Anglican Watch, like other publications, has received threats from supporters of Aaron Solomon. Research suggests the threats are coming from Aaron’s extended family, and the threats are, to be blunt, insane. For instance, one message we received, from a person in Baltimore, falsely informed us that reporting on the Solomon case was online stalking and could result in life imprisonment,

Read the First Amendment much, Aaronites?

And while we’re at it, kindly refrain from practicing law without a license. You look like a bunch of jackasses when you make up laws that don’t exist.

Needless to say, we will continue to cover the case, even as we question why Aaron Solomon and his allies appear desperate to suppress coverage. Indeed, we have forwarded the threats to law enforcement and will take appropriate legal action in the event of any further threats.

As always, we’ll continue to update you on this situation. Anglican Watch stands with Angie, Gracie, and Grant as they navigate this difficult situation.

  1. None of Aaron’s extended family have ever threatened anything. We have all taken the high road while he has been threatened countless times, accused, and judged for four years. He has no family in Baltimore. This is false information.

    1. We stand by our reporting.

Moreover, we invite you to address Aaron’s fabrications, including his claims at Grant’s funeral about how they routinely played baseball together, and how a “good Samaritan” aka Holly Thompson found Grant’s cellphone.

Or Aaron’s claim to be a Christian, even as he posts BS online as he trolls for sex aka “every inch of you would love it.”

      Aaron Solomon

      1. I never said Aaron was perfect or any other Christian for that matter. I think maybe you could dig a little deeper into the other side of that exchange and see what was sent to him. However, I don’t think throwing the Christian card out there is a great idea considering the person you are supporting tried to have him murdered (and 2 other people).. and yes, they did play baseball and hangout together leading up to his death.it was not the first time in two years.

      2. Also, thank you for not blocking me. I have never been able to respond to anything without being blocked. I really do appreciate the opportunity to respond.

  2. That is your response? Although icky to show people’s private messages, that was a text – to a consenting adult. So wait, Christians don’t have sex? It wasn’t “online” until one of your people posted that photo and made it public, obviously because HE likes carrying that photo in his phone (and the guy who posted that online also likes using padlocks to lock men inside houses – THAT does not sound like consent). We don’t have family in Baltimore. Do some research and at least pick a city we have relatives. We have never threatened anyone. False reporting at its finest.

    1. Um, last we heard, Christians aren’t typically online looking for rando sex. Or lying about Grant’s cellphone; there was NO “good Samaritan.”

It takes a special kind of human being to lie at his own son’s funeral.

As for you, Courtney, your internet history is proving interesting.

      1. I just want to make sure I understand your reply, I make a comment in regards to an article – that was not rude or offensive to this publication and the publication threatens me by researching me online? Is that Christian? That is why we don’t speak out. Are you the one that threatened my daughter by “destroying her on social media”? Sounds like something you would say and do. Threatening children is mean. And not very Christian.

        1. No one is threatening you, Courtney. And no one here claims to be Christian.

That said, your actions online, including those directed at other publications, have been the subject of scrutiny for a while now and have been forwarded to law enforcement.

And since you’re now engaging in ad hominem attacks, further comments from you are blocked.

        2. Courtney claims she doesn’t speak out. But here is a screen cap of one of her recent posts on Facebook.

Courtney DOES “speak out” on social media

Meanwhile, we reiterate: Anyone who would lie at his own son’s funeral is someone who should be treated with great skepticism. Yes, that would be Aaron.
