TEC falls further and further behind on safeguarding
The Episcopal Church is falling further and further behind in its efforts to prevent misconduct within the church. That in itself suggests the church is dying, for ensuring that church is a safe place for all persons is at the very heart of what it means to be a church.

It will soon be 60 years since the Rev. Martin Luther KIng, Jr., penned his famous letter from the Birmingham jail. In it, he decried the role of white “moderates” in perpetuating racism, and sent it to two Episcopal bishops. That begs the question: Is your “moderate” Episcopal parish part of the problem? Are you part of the problem?
These are meaningful questions to ask this Lent.
