Update: Former EHS lax coach Christian Zaleski may be at it again

Christian Zaleski, the former Episcopal High School part-time lacrosse coach who lost his job and faced criminal charges after he vandalized the homes of students, may be at it again.

Since Anglican Watch first covered the story, we have received multiple requests from Zaleski asking us to take down posts about him. In every instance, he’s claimed he’s learned his lesson, done his time, etc.

Most recently, we told Zaleski to stop contacting us about these issues, as our answer isn’t going to change.

Soon after, we began intercepting various threatening comments and posts, all from the Houston area. Included in those comments were threats to “expose” Anglican Watch editor Eric Bonetti for being gay, included threats to launch a website, “whoisericbonetti.com.”

In response, we’ve forwarded the messages, the IP addresses, and other meta-data to Houston police and others. In doing so, we copied Zaleski, so he can’t say he wasn’t aware.

To be clear: While we retain the absolute bare minimum of information needed to maintain site security while protecting the identity of users, we can and will maintain logs in cases of threats, harassment, or other misconduct. We reserve the right to forward these data to law enforcement.

Is Christian Zalesky at it again? We think so.

So, Zaleski is innocent as a matter of law, and we are unable to definitively prove at this point that he is the person harassing us. But we believe the evidence strongly supports that notion that Zaleski is the culprit, and we are more than willing to file criminal charges and file a civil suit if doing so is required.

In the meantime, we urge caution in all dealings with Zaleski. Indeed, were he truly repentant, he would accept the fact that bullying high school kids will rightly engender media coverage, and let it go.

The fact Zaleski apparently has learned nothing from his prior encounter with the law, and seemingly still thinks he can manipulate and intimidate others to get his way, indicates a very troubled soul.
