Sources close to the matter tell Anglican Watch that Angie Solomon may have suffered a stroke while in custody following her arrest over allegations that she tried to hire a hitman to kill her ex-husband., former WSMV news anchor Aaron Solomon. While the terms of Angie’s pre-trial release require prior court approval prior to medical appointments, experts consulted by this publication warn that her symptoms require evaluation on an emergency basis.
Following her release, Angie has experienced weakness on the left side of her body consistent with a stroke.
Experts tell Anglican Watch that, left undiagnosed and untreated, the situation could lead to disability or death for Angie.
Among the possibilities cited by experts are:
- A ruptured blood vessel in the brain, which could suddenly and without warning, prove fatal.
- A heart attack.
- A heart defect, such as an aneurysm.
- A pulmonary embolism.
- Cancer.
None of these possibilities can be adequately diagnosed or treated at home.
Anglican Watch has encouraged Angie’s friends to help her seek permission from the court to go to an emergency room on an urgent basis.
Angie’s son Grant died on July 20, 2020, under questionable circumstances while alone with his father. His sister, Gracie, alleges that Aaron repeatedly sexually abused her.
A grand jury will hear the allegations against Angie on July 2, 2025. If the grand jury issues an indictment, an arraignment will be held on July 30.
The trial court reduced Angie’s bond from $500,000 to $250,000, while imposing strict restrictions on her release. Under these provisions, Angie is under home detention, wears an ankle monitor, and cannot leave her home without the court’s advance permission except to meet with attorneys. No one in Angie’s home is allowed to possess telecommunications devices or firearms while in the residence.
Anglican Watch remains deeply concerned about the case, including allegations that Aaron Solomon previously tried to kill his wife. These claims appear to have been ignored by law enforcement, thus raising the possibility of selective enforcement by local officials.
Our concerns in this matter are exacerbated by Aaron’s questionable circle of friends, including Sam Johnson. The latter garnered national attention after a video of him harassing a same-sex high school couple on their way to a prom went viral.
Additionally, Aaron is friends with pastor Steve Berger, who has a record of improbable claims and shady business dealings.
If you or someone you know are experiencing symptoms of a possible stroke, including sudden numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg, particularly on one side of the body, as well as difficulty speaking, understanding, or seeing, severe headache, dizziness, and loss of balance or coordination, call 911 immediately.
